Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark September 17, 1924

Mrs. Lucy Ann Hanbury, aged 45 years, wife of O.L. Hanbury, died yesterday 
afternoon at 12:20 o'clock at the family residence, 110 B street, South Norfolk, 
after an illness of five months. She was born in Bertie county, N.C., but had 
made her home in this section 27 years.
She was a daughter of J.A. and Mrs. Willie Myers Mizelle.  Besides her husband 
and parents Mrs. Hanbury is survived by one daughter, Miss Hazel P. Hanbury, 
three brothers, Joe, Allen and Kendall Mizelle, and five sisters, Miss Alice 
Mizelle, Mrs. G.H. Burton, Miss Zora Mizelle, Mrs. H.W. McGrath and Mrs. F.A. 
Lane, the latter of Atlantic City, N.J.
Funeral services will be conducted in Chesapeake Avenue Methodist Church this 
afternoon at 4 o'clock with the Rev. Charles E. Green, officiating.  Burial will 
be in Magnolia Cemetery.
