He was a native of Norfolk County and had made his residence in this section all his life. He was custodian of the South Norfolk schools, was a member of the Chesapeake Avenue Methodist Church and was well known and esteemed throughout this community. He was a son of the late Horatio B. and Mrs. Elizabeth Kilgore Hanbury and is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bettie Sue Johnson Gatling Hanbury; one stepson, Albert Gatling and two brothers,, Samuel B. and Robert F. Hanbury, Portsmouth. The body was removed to the Graham Funeral Home, Jackson and Jefferson streets, South Norfolk. Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the Chesapeake Avenue Methodist Church. Burial will be in the family plot in Magnolia Cemetery. ***************************************************************** Oscar Littleton Hanbury - Funeral services for Mr. Hanbury, who died at his residence on B street, South Norfolk, Saturday night, will be conducted this afternoon at 3 o'clock from Chesapeake Avenue Methodist Church. In the list of survivors carried in the account of Mr. Hanbury's death, the name of a sister, Mrs. Hazel Hanbury Pleasants, of Richmond, was omitted.
