Mrs. Hanbury was a native of Norfolk County and had been for 27 years a resident of South Norfolk, where she had become well known and esteemed. She was a member of the Liberty Street Methodist Church. Mrs. Hanbury was a widow of H.B. Hanbury, a daughter of Malborn and Mrs. Sarah Kilgore. She is survived by the following children: A.B., H.B., S.B., R.F. and O.L Hanbury and a sister, Mrs. Sallie A. Jolliff, of Charlottesville, Va. The funeral will be held from Liberty Street M.E. Church Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. P.C. Heath, assisted by Rev. E.T. Dadmun. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
