Petherbridge, on the Deep Creek Boulevard, Norfolk County, after a long illness. She was a lifelong resident of the county and was well known and beloved by a large circle of friends. She was a daughter of the late John and Mrs. Nancy Hall Hanbury and widow of W.T. Hanbury. Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. R.D. Haley, South Norfolk and Mrs. Petherbrirdge; two sons, A.L. and W.T. Hanbury, South Norfolk; two step children, Mrs. M.A. Roach, Fentress and C.L. Hanbury, Portsmouth; one brother, A.B. Hanbury, South Norfolk and 14 grandchildren. The body will be removed from the funeral home of E. Lee Cox, 124 East Berkley avenue, to the residence of her son, A.L. Hanbury, 116 Chesapeake avenue, South Norfolk. Funeral services will be conducted at the South Norfolk Christian Church, of which she was a member, tomorrow afternoon at 4:30 o'clock. Burial will be in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery.
