He was a native of Norfolk County and a lifelong resident of this section. He was the son of the late Abner and Mrs. Matilda Hanbury Hanbury. Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Pearl Elizabeth Adkins Hanbury; two sons, Albert, Jr. and Millard Hanbury; three daughters, Mrs. Claude Hanbury, Mrs. Ruth Summers and Miss Elizabeth Hanbury and five grandchildren, all of this section, and one brother, C.L. Hanbury, of Portsmouth. Mr. Hanbury was formerly track foreman for the Virginia Electric and Power Company, but had been retired several years. The body was removed to the Funeral Home of Graham and Sykes, Jackson and Jefferson Streets, South Norfolk, where funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Burial will be in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery, Berkley.
