A native of Perquimans County, NC and the daughter of the late Bettie Davenport Proctor and V. L. Proctor, and the widow of William Willis Hanbury. She was a longtime member of Park Place Baptist Church, the Woman's Missionary Union, and the Ann Judson Bible Class. Left to cherish her memory is her granddaughter, Amy Woolwine Taylor; and two great grandchildren, Blair and Grant Taylor. She was predeceased by her daughter and son in law, Betty "Bunny" and Kenneth Woolwine. The family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers at Harbor's Edge. A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Sat., June 1st in Elmwood Cemetery with The Rev. Fred Braswell officiating.
