Virginian Pilot June 25, 1967

William W. Hanbury, 60, of 788 W. 4th St. died in a hospital Saturday afternoon.
A native of Norfolk, he was the husband of Mrs. Pearl Proctor Hanbury and a son 
of the late William A. and Mrs. Cora Hodges Hanbury.
He was vice president of Dichmann, Wright & Pugh, Inc., steamship agency. He was 
a member of Christian Temple, Ruth Lodge, Norfolk United Royal Arch Chapter, 
Knights Templar and Elks.
Besides his widow, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Betty Hanbury Woolwine of 
Norfolk and a granddaughter.
A funeral service will be held Monday at 3 p.m. in Ewell & Williamson Funeral 
Home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
