Virginian Pilot May 12, 1908

W.T. Hanbury, a well known and respected citizen of Oakdale, South Norfolk, died 
yesterday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Thomas Privott, after a 
brief illness.
The deceased was a native of Norfolk County and was 58 years of age.  He is 
survived by several sons and daughters.  The funeral will be held at the 
residence this afternoon at 3 o'clock with Rev. J.O. Cox, pastor of the South 
Norfolk Christian Church officiating and the interment will be in Magnolia 
Cemetery.

The funeral of the late W.T. Hanbury took place at the residence of his daughter 
in Oakdale yesterday afternoon and was quite largely attended.
Rev. J.O. Cox, pastor of the South Norfolk Christian Church, officiated, and the 
interment was in Magnolia Cemetery.
