Norfolk Virginian May 24, 1896

Mr. George G. and Mrs. Hattie L. Hancock had the misfortune to lose by death 
Friday at 1 p.m. their infant, Emma Hattie, aged 2 months. Rev. R.H. Bennett 
preached the funeral from the residence, No. 322 Sheldon Avenue, yesterday at 10 
a.m. Interment was in Elmwood.
