Norfolk Virginian Pilot Monday July 16, 1951
Robert Edward Hancock, 82, husband of Eva Dahlstrom Hancock, died at a 
Norfolk hospital yesterday at 2:20 p.m.  Besides his wife, he is survived by 
two sons, Robert M. Hancock and Fred D. Hancock, both of Norfolk; three 
brothers, H.P. Hancock, I.L. Hancock, Sr. and J.J. Hancock, all of Richmond, 
two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Hancock was a native of Richmond and had been a resident of Norfolk for 
65 years, residing at 220 West 27th Street.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home 
tomorrow at 2 p.m.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
