Richmond Times Dispatch (Richmond, Virginia) Friday, October 3, 1919

Hanft-Died at the home of her son-in-law, Ferdinand C. Ebel, 7055 Seminary 
Avenue, Ginter Park, Salena E. Hanft, in the eighty first year of her age. She 
is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ferdinand C. Ebel, two grandsons, H. C. Ebel 
and F. D. Ebel, three great-grandchildren, a brother, Andrew Dusch, and 
numerous relatives in Norfolk, Va. 
Funeral services will take place at her late residence Friday afternoon at 5 
o’clock, interment in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk, Va., Saturday noon.
