Norfolk Virginian March 24, 1897

Mr. John Hanlon died yesterday morning at 5 o'clock at his home, No. 11 Waverly 
Street, aged 65 years. The funeral will take place at 9:30 o'clock this morning 
from St. Mary's Catholic Church. the deceased was a member of the St. Patrick's 
Society.

The funeral of Mr. John Hanlon took place at 9:30 o'clock yesterday morning from 
St. Mary's Catholic Church and was conducted by Rev. Father Frioli.  Members of 
St. Patrick's Benevolent Association, to which the deceased belonged, were in 
attendance.  The interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
