He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. For 33 years he served in the Navy, and at the time of his retirement he was a Chief Master at Arms. For 25 years since his naval service, and until his recent retirement from civilian employment, he was an employee of the Seaboard Citizens National Bank. Besides his wife, Mrs. Sarah Hanlon, he is survived by one son, Michael Thomas Hanlon, Jr. of Panama; one daughter, Miss Margaret M. Hanlon, of Norfolk; one granddaughter, and a sister, Miss Nora Hanlon, of New Brunswick, N.J. The body was taken to the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, pending funeral arrangements. ************************************************************************** Michael Thomas Hanlon - Funeral services for Mr. Hanlon, who died Tuesday, were conducted yesterday at 10 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church by the Rev. B. J. McKenna. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Pallbearers were Frank P. Ahman, H. A. Foy, John W. Ford, James R. Land, James Thomas, George D. Williams and Arthur L. Cross.
