Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark March 21, 1933

Mrs. Theresa J. Hanlon, aged 74, wife of Thomas J. Hanlon, died at his home, 829 
Baldwin Avenue, last night at 10 o'clock. Mrs. Hanlon was a native of 
Washington, D.C. and a well known resident of Norfolk for the past 42 years. 
Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. T.J. Downing and 
three grandchildren, Theresa, Elizabeth and Thomas Hanlon Downing, all of 
Norfolk. The body will be taken from the residence to Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church, of which Mrs. Hanlon was a member, for funeral services Thursday morning 
at 10 o'clock. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
