 Norfolk Virginian Pilot December 13, 1943

Miss Mary Cecelia Hannan, daughter of the late William M. and Mrs. Annie Trenor 
Hannan, a native of Norfolk and a resident of New York City for the past 20 
years, died at the residence, 730 Riverside Drive, New York City, yesterday 
afternoon at 5:40 o'clock. Surviving her are two brothers, James T. Hannan, of 
Norfolk and William M. Hannan, of New York; two nieces, Miss Mary Virginia 
Hannan and Mrs. Trenor Bardeen and two nephews, William and Mark Hannan, all of 
Virginia Beach.
Services will be held at the chapel of the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments 
Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Miss Mary Cecelia Hannan - Funeral services for Miss Hannan, daughter of the 
late William M. and Mrs. Annie Trenor Hannan, who died Sunday in New York, were 
held at the chapel of the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, yesterday afternoon 
at 2:30 o’clock, with the Rev. P. C. Blackburn, of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 
officiating, assisted by the Rev. R. B. Kealey, of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 
Ocean View, and the Rev. M. J. Harrison, of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church. 
Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Col. Charles H. Consolvo, John Joseph Baecher, Joseph A. 
Fraime, Robert G. Dashiell, Frank Tarrall, William R. Miller, Jess Hough, Joseph 
M. Clark, Jr., Edward Cheshire, Robert L. Orr, Charles B. Carroll and J. Vance 
Kraemer.
