James E. Hansford, 72, formerly of the 700 block of Euwanee Place, died Feb. 5, 
1994, in Franklin, Tenn.

Mr. Hansford was born in Boston, Mass. He retired from civil service and was a 
Navy pilot and veteran of World War II. He was the widower of Virginia M. 
Hansford.

Survivors include two sons, James E. Hansford Jr. of Franklin, Tenn., and George 
W. Hansford Jr. of Goodlettsville, Tenn.; two brothers, Paul Hansford of Naples, 
Fla., and Lenny Hansford of San Diego, Calif.; and 10 grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Cemetery, 
Mausoleum. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is handling 
arrangements.
