Norfolk - Howard Hardeman of 1614 Willoughby avenue, who died Saturday in a
hospital, was given final rites Thursday afternoon in St. Paul AME Church and
was buried in Calvary Cemetery.  Citizens Funeral Home was in charge of
arrangements.

Mr. Hardeman was an employee of Belmont Restaurant and Ajax Company.  He was a
native of Atlanta and was the husband of Mrs. Ophelia Hardeman and son of the
late Howard Hardeman Sr. and Mrs. Susie Hardeman.

Surviving, besides his widow, are five sisters, Mrs. Hattie Sue White of Griffin
GA., and Mrs. Mary Greashon, Mrs. Dorothy Nova, Mrs. Annie L. Williams and Mrs.
Virginia Benford of Cleveland;  and two brothers, Raleigh Hardeman and James M.
Hardeman of Atlanta.
