Norfolk Virginian October 20, 1877
The funeral of Capt. Wm. T. Harding, who died at St. Vincent de Paul Hospital on 
Wednesday last, took place yesterday afternoon at 3 1/2 o'clock from the First 
Presbyterian Church and was very largely attended. The services were conducted by 
the Rev. Dr. Geo. D. Armstrong, pastor, and, at their conclusion, the remains were 
conveyed to Cedar Grove Cemetery, where they were interred with the usual 
impressive ceremonies.
