She was a native of Portsmouth and had been a resident of Norfolk for 30 years. She was the daughter of the late Warner Lewis and Mrs. Mary Tatem Howlett. Surviving her besides her husband are one daughter, Miss Constance Harding, of Norfolk; one sister, Mrs. Nell Howlett Crumb, of Cape Charles; two brothers, George N. Howlett, of Chicago and Warner L. Howlett, of Washington, D.C., and several nieces and nephews. The body was removed to the funeral home of James V. Derry, 346 West Princess Anne Road. Notice of funeral will appear later.
