Norfolk Landmark October 12, 1895
The funeral of Mrs. Mollie Hardtke, wife of Mr. Fred Hardtke, whose death under 
peculiar circumstances was announced yesterday morning, took place yesterday 
afternoon from the residence of Mr. George Blount, corner of Church and North 
streets, Huntersville, and was conducted by the Rev. W. S. Leake, of the Grace 
Baptist Church. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery. She was 28 years of age and 
had been an invalid for some time, being a sufferer from paralysis and kidney 
disease. She leaves one child a little boy.
