Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, April 24, 1990 
Geraldine G. Hardy, of the 900 block of Anna St., a retired librarian, died
April 22, 1990, in her home.

Mrs. Hardy, a native of Norfolk, had retired from the Norfolk public schools
after 32 years. She was the widow of James Roscoe Hardy. She was a member of St.
John A.M.E. Church, West Virginia State College Alumni Association, Educational
Association of Norfolk and National Epicurean Inc.

Survivors include an adopted sister, Dr. Elizabeth Brabble of Hyattsville, Md.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in St. John A.M.E. Church by the
Rev. I.W. Knight. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends may join the
family from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Graves Funeral Home and will assemble at
the residence for the procession. The body will be placed in the church at 10
a.m. Thursday.
