Norfolk - Miss Mary Susan Hardy, 62, of 628 E. Princess Anne road, was given 
funeral services today, June 6, at Hale Funeral Home.  The Rev. J. W. Matthews 
officiated.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

Miss Hardy died June 2 at her home after a short illness.      A native of 
Norfolk, she was employed by Visulite Theater, and was a member of First Baptist 
Church, Bute street;  Eureka Lodge 112 and Silver Queen Circle.

Surviving are a foster son, Raymond Birdsong of Norfolk;  three brothers, 
William Hardy, Charlie Hardy Jr. and Herman Hardy;  and two sisters, Miss Essie 
Hardy and Mrs. Vera G. Smith of Norfolk.
