Final rites were held at Morning Glory Funeral Home on Saturday for Thomas W. 
Hardy,60, a merchant seaman for 42 years, of 821 Bagnall road, who died at his 
home Jan. 17.

The Rev. F. P. Wise officiated at the service.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Hardy was the son of the late Samuel Hardy and Mrs. Mary Hardy.  A native of 
New Bern, NC, he was a member of New Calvary Baptist Church.

The deceased is survived by his wife, Mrs. Emma Hardy;  a son, William Hardy of 
New York;  and three grandchildren.
