Virginian-Pilot August 30, 1954
Matthew Kimbrough Hardy, four and a half months old son of Major Earl C. Hardy and 
Margery Hunter Hardy, died at Syracuse, N.Y., Thursday. Besides his parents, he is 
survived by a sister, Miss Joanne Hardy; a brother, Nathaniel H. Hardy; his 
paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Nat W. Hardy, all of Corpus Christi, Tex.; and 
his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Margaret K. Hunter, of New York.
The body will be taken from the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to Elmwood Cemetery 
for funeral services at the grave today at 11 a.m., to be conducted by Chaplain 
Pius F. Keating, USN.
