Norfolk - A funeral service for Albert J. Hardy of 2744 E. Princess Anne road
was conducted Sunday in Citizens Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Vann Mouring. Burial
was in Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Hardy, a native of Hertford, NC, died April 27 in a hospital after a long
illness. He was a retired employee of Botts Real Estate Company.

He was a son of the late John Hardy and Mrs. Hattie Hardy and the husband of
Mrs. Lelia Hardy. Surviving, besides his widow, are a foster son, William Babb,
and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Alston, both of Norfolk.
