NORFOLK - Fernande Frohe Hardy, 68, of the 300 block of Cherry St., a retired 
civil service employee, died July 16, 1988, in her home.
Mrs. Hardy, a native of Buffalo, N.Y., retired from the Naval Operations Base as 
an agent cashier. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Survivors indude her husband, Thomas S. Hardy; five daughters, Sharon Crosby of 
Virginia Beach, Christine Williams, Kathleen Keeble and Mary E. Hardy, all of 
Norfolk, and Susan Miles of Stafford, Va.; a son, Michael Hardy of Portsmouth; two 
brothers, Leo Frohe and Paul Frohe, both of Buffalo; 16 grandchildren and a great-
grandchild.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Holy Trinity 
Catholic Church by the Rev. Joseph Slattery. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic 
Cemetery. Friends may join the family from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Hollomon-Brown 
Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel.
 There also will be a Christian wake
service 
at 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
