Virginian-Pilot, July 29, 1900
All that was mortal of Mr. Paul Hare who departed this life in New York 
Tuesday, aged 22 years, arrived in Norfolk yesterday morning on the Old 
Dominion steamer, accompanied by his widow and child. The funeral was 
solemnized from the residence of his mother, No. 93 Henry Street, at 3 o'clock 
yesterday afternoon and was conducted by Rev. Dr. B. D. Tucker, of St. Paul's 
Episcopal Church. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery.
