She was a native of Newport News, and a resident of Norfolk for the past 35 years. She was a member of the Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary, of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Mark Henry Harford, Jr., and Louis Samuel Harford; four daughters, Misses Mildred Helen, Evelyn Louise, Betty Ann and Adele Theresa Harford, all of Norfolk; four brothers, Michael, Leo and John Shalhoup, all of Norfolk, and Joseph Shalhoup, of Paterson, N.J.; and five sisters, Mrs. Joseph Sheaha and Mrs. John Asea, both of Paterson, and Mrs. Wayne Larabee, Mrs. John King and Mrs. Arthur Brown, all of Norfolk. Funeral services will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church Saturday morning at 10 o’clock. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Rosary services by the members of the Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary will be held at the residence tonight at 7 o’clock.
