Virginian-Pilot June 19, 1966
NORFOLK — Emmett Leroy Hargrove, 75, of 7411 Chipping Road, Algonquin Park, died 
Saturday at 6:45 a.m. in a hospital.
He was a son of John T. and Mrs. Mary Frost Hargrove, and a lifelong resident of 
Norfolk. He was a retired Norfolk & Western Railway cashier and a member of 
Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, Meadowbrook.
Surviving are two sisters, Miss Lucille Hargrove of Norfolk and Mrs. Walton B. 
Holland of Virginia Beach and a brother, Ernest Hargrove of Norfolk.
A private funeral service will be held in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments. Burial 
will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
The family has requested that flowers be omitted.
