Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, October 16, 1993 
Mary L. Winstead "Muzzy" Hargrove, 33, of the 5900 block of Poplar Hall Drive, 
died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1993, in Sentara Leigh Hospital. 
She was a member of First Gospel Tabernacle in Chesapeake. She was the daughter 
of Marion Winstead and the late Eunice Winstead, and was the mother of the late 
Dwight Winstead. 
In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Ralph Randolph 
Hargrove of Norfolk; 11 sisters, Yvonne K. Latimer and Sarah M. Hargraves, both 
of Chesapeake, Fannie C. Etheridge, Eunice Winstead, Nanette Elliott, Beverly 
Winstead, LaBarbara Sheed, Vanessa Winstead, all of Norfolk, Mrs. Ollie Mae 
Pope, Mrs. Marian Byrum, both of Wilson, N.C., and Mrs. Grace Beklin of 
Philadelphia; six brothers, Eugene Ellison, Miles Winstead, both of Norfolk, 
William D. Winstead, Robert L. Winstead, both of Norristown, Pa., Jason 
Winstead of Wilmington, Del., and Eli Winstead of Wilson, N.C. 
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in First Gospel Tabernacle by Elder 
Jobie Boone. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery with Twilight Funeral Home in 
charge. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5 to 6 p.m. Sunday. The 
family will be at the home of her father, 524 Fenchurch St., Norfolk, and will 
assemble there for the service.
