A native of Bertie County, N.C., she lived in the Berkley section of Norfolk and South Norfolk most of her life. For 19 years, she was seamstress with Anjay Fashion Manufacturing Co., Inc., Norfolk. She was the wife of Linwood F. Harlow, and a daughter of the late Joe and Mrs. Sarah Jane Francis Hewitt. She was a member of the Great Bridge-Chesapeake Section of Jehovah's Witnesses and Garments Fashion Union Local 201. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, James D. Harlow of Chesapeake; a brother, Charles D. Hewitt of Norfolk; a half brother, Spencer M. Hyman of Arlington; and five grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 3 p.m. in Graham Funeral Home by Irvin T. Wilson of Great Bridge-Chesapeake Section of Jehovah's Witnesses. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Norfolk. The family will be at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9.
