Mr. Harlow, a Norfolk native and the widower of Virginia Hewitt Harlow, had retired from Norfolk Naval Station. He was a Methodist. Survivors include a son, James D. Harlow of Tampa, Fla.; a sister, Armiattia Harlow of Houston, Tex.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Magnolia Cemetery. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
