He was a native of Greenville, Tenn., and had made his home in this section 45 years. He was the son of Jacob and Rebecca Harman and husband of the late Mrs. Martha Lambert Harman. He is survived by two stepdaughters, Mrs. Edna Baker, of Akron, Ohio, and Mrs. P.T. Simpkins, of South Norfolk; one stepson, J.E. Lambert, Norfolk, and six step grandchildren. He was a member of Zion Methodist Church and a charter member of the Lamberts Point Lodge No. 99 I.O.O.F. The body was removed to the Graham Funeral Home, Jackson and Jefferson streets, South Norfolk. Funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at 4 o'clock at Zion Methodist Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
