This most estimable lady, widow of Mr. LaFayette Harmanson, died at her home, No. 212 York street, about 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon after an illness of some little duration. Mrs. Harmanson was formerly Miss Taylor and was a sister of Captain Washington Taylor, Mrs. R. W. Waldrop and Mrs. George Chamberlaine, who survive her. She was a lady of the purest Christian character and of her it can indeed be truly said that none knew her but to love her. Her charity was as broad as her other Christian virtues and for this she was especially well beloved. She numbered her friends by the hundreds, for she possessed to an eminent degree all those qualifications most loveable in woman. The funeral services will take place from St. Luke's P. E. Church Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock.
