Harmon, well known on this side of the river, died yesterday at 11:45 o'clock at the residence of his son, John W. Harmon, at Lambert's Point, after an illness lasting five months. He was a native of Virginia, but had been residing in this section many years and was in the seventy-second year of his age. He is survived by a widow and seven children, five sons and two daughters. They are: J.W., Capt. N.L. and Regie D. Harmon and Mrs. E.M. Gray and Mrs. W.H. Camp. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral apartment of J.R. Williams, 208 Chestnut street, Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock and the interment will be made in Magnolia Cemetery.
