The Virginian Pilot Wednesday April 13, 1983
Addie Barrett Harper, 99, of 340 Lynn Shores Drive died Monday in a hospital.
She was a native of Rocky Mount, N.C., and the widow of Jacob P. Harper. She was 
a member of Glad Tidings Church.
Survivors include two daughter, Zelda M. Jones of Englewood, Fla., and Catherine 
L. Hawkins of Norfolk; two sons, Hugh H. Harper of Collingdale, Pa., and Thomas 
W. Harper of Boca Raton, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 
five great-great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Forest Lawn 
Cemetery by the Rev. Ralph Kay. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road, is 
in charge.
