Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark January 15, 1924
Mrs. Georgie Marr Harper, aged 63, widow of Joseph H. Harper, died yesterday 
afternoon at 1:05 o'clock at her residence, 121 West Twelfth street.  She is 
survived by a brother, William Marr; four nephews, C.D., C.S., J.E. and R.O. Marr; 
two nieces, Mrs. Norman Harrell and Mrs. Shelby L. Smith; two stepsons, Walter 
Harper, of South Norfolk and W.H. Harper, of Elon College, N.C. and a 
stepdaughter, Mrs. J.O. Cox, of Horseshoe, N.C.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock from the 
funeral apartments of V.H. Smith, 631 Olney Road.  Burial will be in Magnolia 
Cemetery
