Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark February 28, 1919                       

Mrs. Lena Elizabeth Harper, 39 years old, a native of Isle of Wight County, 
died yesterday morning at 9:30 o'clock after an illness of five months.
She had been a resident of this section sixteen years and was a daughter of 
Mrs. Annie M. and the late T.F. Bobbitt, and a widow of Fitzhugh Lee Harper. 
Besides the above she is survived by her daughter, Annie May Harper; four 
sisters, Mrs. Virginia Harmon, Mrs. Mamie Sandall, Mrs. S.B. Harrison, of 
Berkley and Mrs. Robert Rowland, Richmond; two brothers, W.P. Bobbitt, 
Franklin, T.H. Bobbitt, Goldsboro, N.C.  The funeral will be conducted at 
the residence this afternoon at 4:30 o'clock by Rev. S.J. Battin, pastor of 
Memorial Methodist Church, and burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
