Bronx, NY - Samuel L. Harper of 700 E. 156th street, the husband of Mrs. Hestmon 
Harper, died Sunday in a hospital.

A native of Norfolk, he was a son of the late William W. and Mrs. Martha J. 
Harper.

Besides his widow, surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Mary H. Davis, Mrs. Bernice 
Allen, and Mrs. Geneva Revell of Norfolk. 

A funeral service will be held Sunday at 1:15 p.m., in St. Joseph AME Church, 
Chesapeake, by the Rev. E. L. Coleman. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, 
Norfolk, with Fitchett Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
