Norfolk Virginian Pilot November 27, 1938
Mrs. Eva Blanche Harrell, aged 64, of 100 Park avenue, South Norfolk, died at 
the residence of her daughter, Mrs. John Siron, of Jersey City, N.J., yesterday 
at 2 a.m.  She was ill for one day.
She was a native of Oxford, N.C. and had resided in this section 40 years.  She 
was taken ill while visiting her daughter.  She was a daughter of the late 
Gorham and Mrs. Bettie Wade Wright and was the widow of William Rufus Harrell.
She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. A.M. Bryant, Mrs. E. L. Baker, Miss 
Bettie Harrell, of South Norfolk; Mrs. Lucy McWaters, of Alexandria and Mrs. 
John Siron, of New Jersey; three sons, G.W. and R.L. Harrell of South Norfolk 
and S.C. Harrell of Norfolk; one sister, Mrs. H.G. Hinman, of Portwell, N.Y. and 
12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Harrell was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, South Norfolk.
The body will arrive today and will be removed to the Graham Funeral Home, 
Jackson and Jefferson streets, South Norfolk, pending funeral arrangements.

Mrs. Eva Blanche Harrell - Funeral services for Mrs. Harrell, of 100 Park 
avenue, South Norfolk, who died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John 
Siron, of Jersey City, N.J., will be conducted this afternoon at 3 o'clock at 
the Graham Funeral Home, Jackson and Jefferson streets, South Norfolk.  Burial 
will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
