Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - July 18, 1991

Nannie L. Harrell, 42, of the 2800 block of Early St., a retired bus driver, 
died July 14, 1991, in a hospital.
Mrs. Harrell had retired from TRT. She was born in Edgecombe County, N.C., 
and was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, John Harrell Jr.; two sons, John Harrell and 
Jerome Harrell of Norfolk; her mother, Mary Hart of Nashville, N.C.; four 
sisters, Earlene M. Black of Norfolk, Audrey Richerson of Spring Hope, N.C., 
Mary Drake of Rocky Mount, N.C., and Sharon Hart of Nashville; four 
brothers, Donald Cherry of Baltimore and Melvin Hart, George A. Hart and 
William Hart, all of Nashville; and maternal grandmother, Violet Powell of 
Bridgeport, Conn.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today in Twilight Funeral Home. Burial will 
be in Magnolia Cemetery. Friends may join the family at 3226 Lyons Ave., and 
will assemble there at 1 p.m. for the procession.
