NORFOLK - Howard E. Harrell Sr. of of 2921 Liberia Drive, husband of Mrs.
Elizabeth Harrell, died Thursday in a hospital.

A native of Elizabeth City,
N.C., he was a retired employe of NBC Track Line.

Other survivors include five
daughters, Mrs. Emma Howard of Norfolk, Mrs. Jean Hinton of Raleigh, N.C., Mrs.
Helen Battle and Mrs. Vernetta Belcher of Chesapeake, and Mrs. Gladys Clark of
Newport News; and two sons, Howard E. Harrell Jr., and Charles Harrell of
Norfolk.

A funeral service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. in First Church of
Christ Holiness by Bishop Eugene Brown. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with
Graves Funeral Home in charge.
