The Virginian Pilot, Sunday, December 21,1980
Norfolk - Lewis Harrell Jr., of 1252 Mapole Ave., a native of Edenton NC, 
and the husband of the late Mrs. Carrie Harrell, died Friday in a hospital.

He was a retired 10 year employee of College Provision Packing Co. He was a 
member of the Deacon Board and former Sunday School Superintendent of First 
Church of Christ Holiness. 

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Vivian Griffin and Mrs. Olive Harris; 
and a son, Irvin Harrell, all of Norfolk; six grandchildren; 12 great-
grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in First Church of Christ Holiness 
by Bishop Eugene Brown. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, with Graves 
Funeral Home in charge. The body will be in the church at 11 a.m. The family 
will assemble at his home.
