Mrs. Annie Harris, 68, 2306 Maltby Ave., died Saturday, August 3, at a local 
hospital.  A daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Webb and the wife of 
the late Mr. William H. Harris, she ws a native of Rocky Mount, NC.

She was a member of the Jerusalem Baptist Church and is survived by two 
nieces, Mrs. Mary C. Wright, Mrs. Kate Mayhan, of Beckley WV and a host of 
other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted Aug. 6, 2 p.m. at the Jerusalem Baptist 
Church.  The pastor, Rev. Thomas M. Venable conducted the rites.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Morning Glory Funeral Home in charge.
