Funeral services were held Saturday at Pretlow’s Funeral Chapel for Luther 
Harris, 79, who died at his residence at 303 Freeman avenue, South Norfolk on 
April 15.

Son of the late Nicholos and Mrs. Henrietta Harris, the deceased worked for 30 
years for the Eppinger and Russell Company.  He retired six years ago.  He was a 
native of Henderson, NC.

Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. W. B. Westbrook and burial was in 
Mt. Olive Cemetery.

Mr. Harris was unmarried and there are no known survivors
