Norfolk - The Rev. Hodges S. Harris, 75, a native of Norfolk, and pastor of 
Eureka Baptist Church, New York City, is scheduled to receive funeral rites 
March 3 in Queen Street Baptist Church.  Rites will be held Feb. 28 at 1 p.m. at 
Eureka Baptist Church.

He died Feb. 23.  He was the husband of Mrs. Annabelle Harris and a son of the 
late Rev. George O. Harris and Mrs. Mary L. Harris.

Rev. Mr. Harris was a member of the Baptist Ministers Conference of Norfolk, 
Portsmouth and Vicinity and Excelsior Masonic Lodge 87.  He serviced as minister 
of Poplor Lawn Baptist Church, Crew;  Morning Star Baptist Church, Burkeville;  
and Universal Evangelistic Community Center, Baltimore.  He was also associated 
with Eureka Bible School.

The Rev. J. Jasper Freeman, pastor of Queen Street Baptist Church will deliver 
the eulogy.  The Rev. Frank P. Wise will preside.  Other members of ministers 
conference will assist.  The body will be in state from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. 
Monday.

The family will be at 1356 Bolton street.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery with Moseley Funeral Home in charge.
