Norfolk Public Ledger October 19, 1903
Two Seamen Die And Are Buried In Strange Land.

W. Harris, aged 19 years, and Antonio Peterson, aged 49, two merchant sailors who 
died at St. Vincent's Hospital Sunday, were buried in Cedar Grove Cemetery today 
with services at the grave by Rev. J. B. Merritt, seamen's chaplain. Harris, whose 
home was in England, was from the British steamship Radcliffe, and Peterson, whose 
home was in Scandinavia, was from the German steamship Erica.
