Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch November 5, 1923
Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Smith Harris were held at the residence, 108 East 
Eleventh street, at 3 o'clock this afternoon. Rev. David Peebles, pastor of 
Fairmount Park Baptist church, officiated. There were many floral offerings. 
Interment was in Elmwood cemetery. The pallbearers were: J. T. Knight, J. D. 
Watson, James Hatton, J. H. Gimbert, W. H. Sawyer and F. J. Fowler.
