Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Friday, August 13, 1993 
Thelma Louise Thompson Harris of 743 Fremont Ave., a native of Norfolk, died
Aug. 10, 1993, in route to DePaul Medical Center.

Mrs. Harris had retired as a housekeeper at WTAR-TV and radio station after 42
1/2 years of service. She was a faithful member of the House of Prayer For All
People (NU)2 in Berkley.

Survivors include her son, Pernell Harris Jr. of Norfolk; three grandchildren,
Michael Edwards of Chesapeake, Anita Gatling of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and
Deborah Hampton of Chicago; and three great-grandchildren, Nikki, Keesha and Khari.

A graveside service will be conducted at noon Saturday in Calvary Cemetery ,
Norfolk, by Elder Eugene Wynn. Metropolitan Funeral Service is handling
arrangements.
