Norfolk - The funeral rites for Mrs. Arlethia Harris were given Thursday in St.
Mary’s Holiness Church.  Mrs. Harris, who resided at 880 Bank street, died July
17 in her home.

Mrs. Harris, a native of Cofield, NC, was a daughter of Frank Spruill and Mrs.
Millie Weaver Spruill.  She was a member of St. Mary’s church.  She is survived
by four sons, Vernon E. Harris of Edenton, NC., Frank, Eunice, and Henry of
Norfolk;  aa daughter, Mrs. Lena B. Eldridge of Baltimore;  two brothers,
William Spruill of Norfolk and Amos Spruill of Colerain, NC;  and two
grandchildren.

Mrs. Harris was buried in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick Funeral Service in charge.
